The Algorithm Shuffle
The Google Dance – as it has been called – was a period that a major indexing was taking place at the house of Google.
These major indexing updates took place about 10 times a year roughly once each month (36 days). Here is a link to a very good article on the Google Dance and what it was and what it has since become – thank goodness!
