Amazon Simple Storage Service
Chances are pretty good that you have heard of Amazon ‘DOT’ com – the online book store.
Well they have grown up a bit since the old days when they were just the place you could purchase books on the Internet.
Now they are a power-house of services.
Yes you can still get your books but Amazon can sell you just about anything else as well. Have you heard of Kindle? It is one of Amazons electronic products that can hold 1,500 books. It can even read to you – Look out children, tonights bed-time story will be read by Kindle..
This post is not about the Kindle or even about the books that Amazon sells. This post is about an entirely different product – service, really, that Amazon provides.
I’m talking about Amazon AWS, also known as Amazon Web Services.
Using Amazon Web Services, an e-commerce web site can weather unforeseen demand with ease; a pharmaceutical company can “rent” computing power to execute large-scale simulations; a media company can serve unlimited videos, music, and more; and an enterprise can deploy bandwidth-consuming services and training to its mobile workforce.
Basically AWS can benefit Internet Marketers a great deal and be very cost conscious at the same time.
I have been using one of the services under the AWS umbrella for over a year and I have had zero problems in streaming my videos or having any slow-down at all when multiple customers are watching the streaming videos while others are downloading large video files at the same time.
This particular Amazon Service is called S3, or Simple Storage Service.
It is similar to an online hard drive with unlimited space. You only pay for what you use and the cost is unbelievably cheap. Gigs for pennies
There was so much that Amazon S3 had to offer but I was only using it as a storage device for my videos. Mainly because I could not understand how to use any of the other options offered on the S3 service.
Well I had a bit of extra time on my hands lately and dug a little deeper. I put what I learned into my latest plr video series titled Amazon S3 How To Videos – Your Video Guide To Mastering Amazon S3
Take a look at the above video and it will show you all the info covered in the video series.
If you are not familiar with my PLR Video Series, I provide you with a few different options on what you can receive. If you are interested in any of the packages on this or any of the video series I have made, just click on the links in the right sidebar on the product or products you are interested in.
I will be adding to the Amazon S3 series as time permits, with additional content.
I will be doing additional Amazon AWS Volumes as well. The added Volumes will cover the other AWS services like Amazon Simple DB, Amazon CloudFront and others.
I hope you enjoy and learn from these videos as much as I learned & enjoyed from making them.
Sincerely,
Steve Dougherty

hi Steve
I have a really simple question. How do I make my videos stream directly on my webpage as this one above is doing? Currently when you click on the video it opens in a separate web page.
Thank you.

Hello Oli,
I think I found the solution to your problem. I made a short video showing you what I found on your site that will more than likely fix the problem.
I emailed you the video to the email you have listed here. As soon as you get a chance to, could you get back to me and let me know if it did the trick?
Thanks for your question and stopping by my site.
